DAY FOURTEEN

We eventually get to the Zebra Bar 10 miles from ST Louis, one side of the gate full of people, traders etc and the otherside quite quiet, except for a few travellers, dogs, and a Donkey. Which has developed a rapor with Sam, and we even found the Donkey in Sams tent after Lunch. At breakfast we left out the cheese biscuits whilst taking a swim and on our return we found the Donkey had not only eaten the biscuits and knocked over all the cooking equipement, but had stollen Sams bag and was going through the contents some distance from our vehicles.

Martins thought he would swim to Bird Island as we had told him that some very pretty girls sun bathe there. The distance was similar to Brightlingsea to East Mersea, we were all amazed. In the distance you could see this figure walking about on the Island, when he swam back we had the local fishing boat at the ready incase he got into dificulty.
A good relaxing day off from driving. Off to Dakar tommorrow.

We met Joel and Michael at the Zebra, taking a little more time to head to Cape town they are staying put for christmas.

Their website is on their number plate.
