Met some Germans in a overland truck, pulled over beside the road. As we past them we stopped to shake hands and wish them a happy christmas.
Four hours Later, we pulled off the road and travelled up to the hills to make camp. As sunset came upon us, we heard in the distance a truck pull up on the road, and could here the banter from the occupants, who turned out to be the German Crew, although we coldnt confirm this untill we caught up with them in a camp site in Bamako beside the Niger the next evening.
Martin cooked Christmas Dinner and this followed by, Roberts Mothers Fruit caked and Sams Peaches in Brandy.... After present opening, which didnt take long, a viewing from Martins computer, of Andy McNabs Tour of Duty.
